Torrie's Take

It's called " Nearly Newlywed.com !" This online bridal boutique allows you access to pre-owned designer gowns. The dresses are sold, altered, worn, and then brought back. You, the bride have the option of keeping it, selling it back to the online boutique for 30 percent of what they spent or have the store sell it for you on consignment. This isn't a bad option for a  bride who doesn't want to keep her gown. You just want to wear your designer dress on your special day and then you're over it. I personally could not do this. I don't want a gown that multiple people have worn even if it is Marchesa! Another issue, these gowns are still going for like $3,000 to $8,000. Most recession brides can't afford that, even if you are selling it back. Let's be real here, you are only in the gown for one day! I say buy something amazing, but not for an obscene amount of money. If you are obsessed with labels, splurge on your shoes instead, at least you will wear them more than once! Now if you are like Kim from Atlanta Housewives (yes, I'm watching her reality show--don't judge me) and money is no object---go all out Girl and enjoy it!
