Is it necessary to wear your engagement ring with your wedding band?

The matching wedding band to my ring is over $400, and I found bands I love way more than that one for under $200. The only problem is those bands won't line up with my engagement ring, so I would not be able to have them welded together after the wedding
Nope, many people choose to wear just a wedding band. No biggie.

That stinks :( I think if I were you I would search a little bit longer and find one that fits. I would want to be able to wear them both all the time. It seems a shame to put the engagement ring away.

I Am curios of how thi works... The man proposes with an engagement ring & then when the wedding comes the man buys a wedding band and the WOMAN buys him his wedding band?? I'm asking because I am a stay at home mom & don't work or have any income
The couple has to figure this out for themselves. Some couples might decide that they will buy each other's ring ("I buy yours, you buy mine"). You typically fuse two rings together after the wedding.
Cost depends on the jeweler, your location and how much they have to stretched ( some rings can't be stretched much).
