It's official: Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie engaged

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Angelina Jolie, 36, and Brad Pitt, 48, a Hollywood megastar couple since 2005, are engaged, Pitt's representative said Friday.
"Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring," the representative, Cynthia Pett-Dante, told CNN.
The longtime couple had been insisting that they wouldn't marry unless the nation's laws allowed all couples to marry.
Asked about this position after the engagement announcement, Pitt's representative didn't have an immediate comment.
Jewelry designer Robert Procop of Beverly Hills, California, designed the diamond engagement ring after a yearlong collaboration with Pitt, his representative said.
Pitt "wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina's hand," the representative said. "Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger."

Carl Pelini delivers on promise that everything would change at FAU
18.05.12
He established a leadership council led by the players, he established new rules in the weight room and the beginning back on March 19, with the first spring practice, Pelini started installing new offensive and defensive schemes.
Saturday the results of the changes will be on display when FAU holds its spring game at 6 p.m., the first in the $70 million, 30,000-seat FAU Stadium that opened last October.
The stadium is one of the few things that have not changed since Pelini took over.
But it was change FAU players were looking for, since they were coming off a 1-11 season that had them ranked as one of the worst teams in the nation.
If there was an upside to losing week after week, it was that the players realized they never wanted to be a part of something like that again.
So when Pelini came in, he found a group that greeted his moves with enthusiasm.
"The fact things went so poorly last year, you really want to buy in," defensive back Keith Reaser said. "Everyone is trusting them because everyone wants to win."

Wife's issues hurt marriage
18.05.12
I have been married to “Ellen” for seven years, and we recently moved back to her hometown. Apparently, she left behind an old boyfriend. They were teenagers “in love.” Ellen was repeatedly unfaithful, and the boyfriend tried to break things off. But Ellen always manipulated him into saying he would love her forever.
At some point, he gave her a promise ring.
She continued cheating on him and never took responsibility, instead blaming her parents or drugs. I knew about the drugs, but the game-playing was only recently revealed to me by Ellen’s friends and relatives. Had I been aware of that side of her personality, I probably wouldn’t have married her. But three kids later, I love her dearly.
Ellen has some insecurity issues, and I am constantly reminding her how much she means to me. But what really bothers me is that she sought out the ex-boyfriend and has started corresponding with him.
