me and my bf have been together for 7 months now... and last night he told me he wants to buy me a promise ring... he said he really want to show me how much he loves me and how committed he is to our relationship and that he does want to marry me one

promise rings are just a way for jewelry stores to make even more money.

Most guys don't even bother getting a promise ring.

See a promise ring is something a guy buys for a girl he wants to put out who hasn't yet, and if you have he maybe wants to try something new like anal. They are pretty cheap compared to a wedding

i think thats really sweet you should give it to him, because it sounds like he is in this for the long term. Dont listen to anyone sayng high school relationships dont last because i know so many people who have been together since they were 16 or 15
