Brides can't do without bling

The sparkling diamante is just one of the 2012 trends brides are opting for when it comes to organising their wedding.

Lucy Dillon, of Lucy Dillon for Brides, said diamante and bling accessories had been a top choice for brides wanting to add an extra sparkle to their day.

"All of a sudden there's lots of bling," Mrs Dillon said.

"The bling does work out to be expensive but it (looks) really nice."

People were incorporating bling and beading in their invitations, dresses and bouquets, she said.

Bling alphas (alphabet letters) were a hot pick, with many hanging the letters on wires at the venue or having the bride and groom's initials in the bouquets.

"On an invite (bling accessories) look gorgeous," Mrs Dillon said.

"People are even having bling around the cake.

"I honestly think it'll hang around for a while.
