What you can do is just print a pic of the dress if you can find it online, then bring that pic into any bridal shop near you. Ask your married friends where they got their gowns for a start. That's how I got my gown, I brought in a pic and the staff in the shop showed me the same exact gown by another designer! All the designers use pretty much

My mom found tons of red spots and lines on this wedding dress and after she put the dress on the warm water it all disappeared! What was that and how is that even possible??

Sometimes dressmakers use washable marking pens to show construction points in gowns.
They will usually disappear with a damp cloth. But if the dress is silk, then it should be taken to the dry cleaners for removal just to be sure.
