How easy is it to add a halter strap to a strapless wedding dress?

I;m doing online shopping for my wedding gown and keep running into beautiful strapless gowns. I dont want a strapless gown. I would much rather prefer a halter or one shoulder dress However, the variety of these types of gowns are extremely limited.
yes you can i do not like strapless dresses because they tend to be a pain when you dance etc . just buy the dress you love and take it to a seamstress they can add the strap in the same color and maybe even add some detailing to match the dress

It's a spaghetti strap dress, the skirt part is pleated, the dress stops just above the knees. It's a garden wedding. I'm in my mid 20s.

My wedding dress is lovely, simple, and fits perfectly, but it is strapless and I would like to add straps just for modesty's sake. It has little hooks like in a strapless bra but no straps. Is there somewhere that I can buy just the straps?
