Cook was at home cleaning her toilet when she spotted something shiny and gold. "I said, 'What is that,' and I went in my closet and I got some rubber gloves and I took it out," Cook explained. "I soaked it with alcohol." The gold ring is wrapped in a string of diamonds. It is engraved with the loving phrase "Christina and Jerry forever." Cook doesn't know how it ended up in her toilet, but she doesn't want their love to go down the drain. "It's like a token of lost love," she said. "Together forever, that means a lot to me, so I want them to have this back. A reward isn't required for me at all." However, the story took a turn when Cook made us this promise. She said she knew the perfect place to keep the ring and brought down a box. Inside was a baby blanket, some baby clothes and her baby son's ashes. "I lost my son in January and this is the safest box for it," she said. |
