Could bridesmaids also wear veils at a wedding?
i don't mean face-covering veils, like those worn in muslim countries... just a simple type that attaches at the top of the head and falls behind the shoulders and back.
Not a muslim hijab...just a simple headcovering.
Traditionally, women were always expected to cover their heads in most daytime public situations, and ALWAYS at church. Up until the sixties, grown women rarely went outdoors bare-headed during the day, though in the evening hats were not worn. Even when hats started to become unfashionable for everyday wear, most women would be ashamed to enter a church
If you are doing it as a fashion statement that is HIGHLY disrespectful to the Muslim religion.
And if you mean a normal bridal veil, no, that's asinine. The veil represents purity, bridesmaids should not wear
